Bestweddingaway launches new destination Mood to provide clients the opportunity to get married in Tuscany.

Tuscany has been a popular tourist spot for centuries with the aristocracy using it as their playground and writers and artists taking inspiration for their next work of art. In fact the beautiful countryside and historic architecture is still popular with modern-day celebrities, with many famous people like musician Sting, best-selling writer Frances Mayes and ’Goodfellas’ star Debi Mazar making Tuscany their home.

With an undeniable attraction to both Italians and non-Italians alike it was only a matter of time before Bestweddingaway created a new Mood for those looking to get married in Tuscany.

Among the new possibilities is a wedding in Siena, famous for the Palio, a horse race that takes place twice a year. The city and the Palio were included in the 2006 Bond film, Casino Royale. The piazza del Campo during the Palio becomes a race track and for the rest of the year is a perfect backdrop to a romantic wedding location.

“The choices for wedding venues in Tuscany are immense, from ’agriturismo’ which look out onto the landscape, Renaissance villas and even the possibility to hire a ’borgo’ (hamlet) for the weekend”, commented Bestweddingaway’s Roberto Benetello.

As well as the amazing landscape and architecture, the famous Chianti and Montepulciano wines originate from this region. This land also produces delicious meats, strong and rich in flavour and complemented by the local saltless breads.
