ChemImage to Exhibit Breakthrough Hyperspectral Imaging Technology at NEAFS Annual Meeting

PITTSBURGH, Oct. 14, 2010 — ChemImage Corporation will be exhibiting its breakthrough Hyperspectral Imaging (HSI) instrumentation at the 2010 Northeastern Association of Forensic Scientists (NEAFS) and New England Division of the International Association for Identification (NEDIAI) Joint Meeting, Nov. 8-12 at the Equinox Resort & Spa, Manchester, Vt.

The HSI Examiner™ 100 QD, an HSI instrument specifically designed for questioned document examination, will be available for live demonstration at the ChemImage booth. Combining spectroscopy with digital imaging, the HSI Examiner shows small spectral variances of chemically different materials. This superior resolution, combined with 2x faster image acquisition than video spectral analysis-based technology, makes the HSI Examiner 100 well suited for forensic casework.

Brimming with educational workshops, sessions and events, the 2010 NEAFS and NEDIAI Joint Meeting will cover a wide range of topics, including bloodstain patterns, latent prints, firearms and questioned documents.
