Names Goforth-Hanak and Buckley Co-Presidents, Launches Revamped Web Site and Looks to the Future with Key Adds in Digital and Media Practices

ATLANTA (Oct. 14, 2010) – As it prepares to celebrate its 25th anniversary in 2011, KEF Media has named Yvonne Goforth-Hanak and Linda Buckley co-presidents while adding new management and staff and rebranding itself to meet the changing needs of its fast-growing roster of clients.

The rebranding effort includes a new, sleeker logo that debuted this month along with a completely redesigned website - kefmedia.com - that is a one-stop shop for those seeking a broadcast PR partner.

The company has also adopted KEF Media as its formal company name, dropping “Associates” from its title, according to Kevin Foley, CEO and founder of KEF Media.

Foley noted that the changes reflect “things we’ve already been doing differently in the broadcast and digital space. We just want to underscore our look to the future and our investments in these growing areas.”

Foley also announced the addition of Vice Presidents Julie Longino and Mark Edwards, directors of the firm’s digital and media practices respectively. In addition, the company has named Jim Ethridge digital media specialist and Amani Channel senior producer. Andy Massingill has also joined KEF Media as its director of sales.

In naming Goforth-Hanak and Buckley co-presidents, Foley says he has stepped back from day-to-day operations but remains active on client and creative consulting and business matters.

Goforth-Hanak joined KEF Media in 2001 as an assistant producer and has held numerous positions in her nine years with the company. Buckley, who worked with Goforth-Hanak in the public relations department at Universal Studios in Orlando, has been with KEF Media since 2004. The co-presidents will oversee operations and business development respectively.

Longino was a freelance web designer and consultant before joining KEF Media. Prior to her career in design, she was in financial services and holds an MBA from Emory. Edwards, a longtime sports and news anchor/reporter was most recently with the CBS affiliate in Knoxville, TN.

Ethridge, a former entertainment publicist, specializes in digital media production and placement at KEF Media while Channel, a former television journalist, manages creative and production of key client projects. Massingill, who was with Radio One, will handle sales and business development.

“We are changing and always look to exceed expectations, but one thing will always remain – KEF Media’s commitment to personal, high-touch, hands-on client service. It’s the best in the business,” said Foley.
