No need for the car wash - Park at Airparks
Holidaymakers parking at Birmingham Airparks can now have
their car shampooed, waxed and dried while they’re away.
The airport car park in Mackadown Lane is offering a new
product - Airparks Park and Ride Plus Car Valet - which is set to
become available at all Airparks sites.
Travellers drop their car off at the car park, then head to the
airport, which is just 4.5 miles away, on the transfer bus. When
they return from holiday, the bus takes them back to the car park
to pick up their newly-cleaned car.
Current prices start from £35.92 for a week’s parking with car
valeting, or £25.92 for just the parking.
Airparks has also given all its products new logos and new
names which better describe exactly what each one involves.
There are better maps, so travellers can find their way easily,
and new photos so they can familiarise themselves with how it all
Airparks has car parks at seven UK airports: Birmingham,
Cardiff, East Midlands, Gatwick, Glasgow, Luton and Newcastle.
Tristan MacIntyre-Read, Airparks’ site experience manager,
said: "It’s hard to find airport parking that’s better value than
Airparks Park and Ride.
"Our superb prices mean it’s almost always cheaper to park with
us than at the airport itself - but at many on-airport car parks, you
still need to catch a transfer bus, so often Airparks can get you to
the airport just as quickly"
