Award Winning Raleigh Florist Contributes to Stonehenge Market Halloween Festivities

Laura Scott, a seasoned award winning Raleigh Florist and owner of Gingerbread House Florist & Gifts, contributes an ornate Halloween themed display for Stonehenge Market patrons and the community to enjoy. The display is available during the entire month of October during normal business hours.

Laura’s annual display initially started five years ago and includes a pumpkin patch, fall foliage, wreaths, fall table arrangements and more. To use pumpkins as a fall holiday centerpiece display, Laura suggests “carve the pulp out of the pumpkin. Bring it to our shop and we will add a plastic liner and create a festive Halloween or Thanksgiving centerpiece display.”

Year over year, patron interest has grown. According to Laura “patrons have discovered our display solely by ‘word of mouth’ up until this point. So many parents enjoy taking pictures of their young children dressed in costume. The display is a perfect backdrop for a seasonal picture for people of all ages. We encourage taking pictures during the whole month of October. It brings a lot of very happy, very grateful people into our shop, which is extremely gratifying for me as the proud owner of a local Raleigh florist shop.“
