The Union Street Association is Proud to Present the Union Street Wine Walk OCTOBER 13th


SAN FRANCISCO, October 5, 2010 —The Union Street Association and Steven Restivo Event Services, LLC are presenting The 1st Annual Union Street Wine Walk on Wednesday October 13th from 4pm-8pm.

Attendees can experience the flavor of Union Street at this first-ever unique and affordable event. The tasting event will be located throughout Union Street from Gough to Steiner and on Fillmore Street and will include restaurants and merchants offering hors d’oeuvres and wine samples.

Over thirty five merchants, wineries and restaurants will be participating and include: Union Street merchants: Firuze, BCBG, Fatto a Mano, Jest Jewels, Shining Star, Ambiance, The Enchanted Chrystal, Cocoa Bella Chocolates, The Artisans of San Francisco, David Clay Jewelers, Union Street Papery, Maggie Jewelry, Gallery of Jewels and more; Participating wineries include: Ketchum Estates, Truchard Vineyards, Hawley Winery, Larson Family Winery, Alexander Valley Vineyards, Deerfield Ranch Winery, Vinum Cellars, Road House Winery and DeLoach Vineyards: Restaurants will include Jovino, The Blue Light Café, Osha Thai Restaurant, Perry’s and Unwind on Union.

Attendees wishing to participate in the sampling program may purchase a $30 Tasting Ticket prior to the event via the web site or purchase the ticket on site the day of the event at The Metro Theater, 2055 Union Street, where attendees will pick up a wine glass and a map of the tasting locations.

The Union Street Wine Walk takes place along San Francisco’s fashionable Union Street where historic Victorians have been transformed into popular boutiques, art galleries and restaurants. The Union Street Association a non-profit organization formed by local property owners and merchants of the area in an effort to improve the business environment on Union Street and the surrounding Cow Hollow district in San Francisco.
