Fujifilm’s Taskero Universe Integrates with TECHKON

Connectivity to TECHKON Spectrophotometers Added to Taskero Universe ColorPath Verified

Valhalla, N.Y., October 04, 2010 – FUJIFILM North America Corporation today announced that at GRAPH EXPO 2010 its Graphic Systems Division will demonstrate the integration of TECHKON’s line of spectrophotometers into Taskero Universe ColorPath Verified. Both TECHKON SpectroDrive™ and SpectroJet™ allow ColorPath Verified to read smaller patch sizes and longer colorbars. This integration will also allow ColorPath Verified to measure CMYK pressroom colorbars. Now users of ColorPath Verified can take full advantage of its powerful analysis tools within the pressroom.

Together these two products will give pressroom managers the tools they need to validate color conformance and to maintain color stability in the press room. The consistently accurate stream of high quality color data from the TECHKON instruments will help ensure that press runs will meet their specified target, a key benefit in speeding up make-ready and eliminating waste in the pressroom.

Taskero Universe ColorPath Verified is a complete process control solution, which monitors and aligns color from a printer’s computer monitor straight through to the press. Taskero Universe ColorPath Verified with ColorPath Sync will be monitoring equipment throughout Fujifilm booth #627 and at other booths throughout the show floor at GRAPH EXPO 2010.
