Spill 911 is excited to introduce our full line of Oil-Only Absorbent Booms. Oil-Only (SkimResponse) Absorbent Booms help contain larger spills on land and in water. Booms help to surround and absorb petroleum-based spills.

Oil-Only (SkimResponse) Absorbent Booms have a strong mesh outer sleeve encased in a poly sock skin filled with highly-absorbent polypropylene. This Boom-In-A-Net design helps keep the boom from shedding while in use. It’s polypropylene filler repels and floats on water while only absorbing oils and other hydrocarbons. These oil-only (SkimResponse) booms are completely saturated when the white color is no longer white. Linking Absorbent Booms together by using their easy-to-use carbon steel connector clips will create a containment system big enough to handle almost any size spill. A nylon rope makes it easy to haul in the boom for easy retrieval.
Oil-Only (SkimResponse) Absorbent Booms are available in a 4-pack (8“ Dia. x 10’ L) for as low as $143.00, a 2-pack (8” Dia. x 20’ L) for as low as $143.00, a 4-pack (5“ Dia. x 10’ L) for as low as $107.00 or a 2-pack (5” Dia x 20’ L) for as low as $107.00. They are all white in color, composed of a polypropylene material and can absorb up to 48 gallons per package.
