SubstanceReviews.com launches Substance Explorer
SubstanceReviews.com, a website specializing in supplement reviews, has been innovative in the way it tackles the way that quantitative information is gathered in the reviews. Rather than just letting the reviewer specify a single or a small set of ratings, it runs a whole gamut of criteria (or effects) that the supplement is associated with. Some example criteria are muscle gain, fat loss, memory, safety, focus, and libido.
Daniel Ansari, CEO, indicates that “By collecting ratings data in this way, we have been able to make a significant step forward in the way that users can get the information that they want. Many users do not know the differences between the various categories of supplements, and, indeed, there is substantial overlap in the effects produced by supplements in different categories. This is due to the fact that supplements often comprise a myriad of ingredients, each with different effects. Thus, it used to be very time-consuming and difficult for the average person to find out what supplements are good for any given effect; a lot of research had to be undertaken by the person. Our new feature, the Substance Explorer, makes it very easy for our users to hone in on the right supplement for them, based on the effects that they are interested in.”
SubstanceReviews.com provides the type of user feedback on food supplements that can be found in the best online forums, but in a highly structured and searchable manner. It sets the bar for supplement review websites by containing information on the individual effects of supplements, allowing the supplements to be ranked and located by these effects.
It is also the first and only website that specifically gathers and reports the side effects encountered by the reviewers.
