Agilent Technologies Joins Change the Equation, Supports Innovation in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math Education

Agilent Technologies Inc. (NYSE:A) today announced that it has joined Change the Equation (CTEq), a CEO-led initiative to cultivate widespread literacy in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). CTEq hopes to achieve President Obama’s Educate to Innovate campaign mission of increasing private and philanthropic involvement in STEM education, as well as meet a critical need for a workforce and a citizenry fluent in science and math.

Agilent has joined 100 leading companies from across multiple sectors to support Change the Equation in its goal of preparing students for STEM-related careers. Through innovative and effective company-led programs, Agilent and CTEq seek to fill the opportunity gap with capable and enthusiastic STEM-literate young people. It is the first and only STEM education group that brings so many corporate leaders together in collaboration with the White House, State Houses nationwide, and the foundation community.
