IMG 1010 Gateway Receives DevConnect Certification with key Avaya Voice Portal and Avaya AuraTM SIP Solutions

Parsippany, NJ - Dialogic Corporation, a global provider of world-class products and technologies for multimedia and signal processing, today announced that its Dialogic® IMG 1010 Integrated Media Gateway has been tested and verified to be compliant with Avaya Voice Portal and related Avaya AuraTM infrastructure solutions from Avaya Inc., a global leader in enterprise communications systems, software and services.

The IMG 1010, a carrier-grade VoIP gateway that supports both media and signaling in a single chassis, is now compliance-tested by Avaya for compatibility with Avaya Voice Portal and SIP infrastructure built using Avaya AuraTM Session Manager, Avaya AuraTM Communication Manager Access Element and Avaya AuraTM Communication Manager Feature Server. Call center customers in various regions are already achieving benefits from the interoperability of Dialogic and Avaya solutions, which enable businesses to connect between SIP applications and subscribers on SS7, ISDN, and CAS mobile and wireline networks.

“Dialogic is very pleased to achieve DevConnect compliance between our IMG 1010 gateway and Avaya’s Voice Portal application utilizing Avaya Aura network components,” said Harold Klett, vice president and general manager of the service provider market group for Dialogic. “The market for cloud-based hosted services is accelerating and the combination of the IMG 1010 and Avaya Aura infrastructure enables enterprises utilizing such services to easily connect and interact with their mobile and wireline customers.”

Dialogic is a member of the Avaya DevConnect program, an initiative to develop, market and sell innovative third-party products that interoperate with Avaya technology and extend the value of a company’s investment in its network. As a Gold member of the program, Dialogic is eligible to submit products for compatibility testing by the Avaya Solution Interoperability and Test Lab. There, a team of Avaya engineers develops a comprehensive test plan for each application to verify whether it is Avaya compliant. Doing so ensures businesses can confidently add best-in-class capabilities to their network without having to replace their existing infrastructure-speeding deployment of new applications and reducing both network complexity and implementation costs.

“Dialogic’s IMG 1010 integrated media gateway helps partners using Avaya’s Voice Portal and Avaya Aura SIP infrastructure to connect to customers on a variety of different wireless and wireline networks including those supporting SS7, ISDN and CAS protocols,” said Eric Rossman, vice president, developer relations, Avaya. “This kind of support enables Avaya to meet the needs of customers using both IP and circuit-based networks.”
