Play65 Exclusive Partner of the World Backgammon Tour

Play65 backgammon room (http://www.play65.com) was named the exclusive online qualifier for the World Backgammon Tour Grand Finale, the closing event of the first continent crossing tour in backgammon (http://www.world-backgammon-tour.com). Play65 will be running the only satellite tournament in online backgammon, awarding the winner with a €2000 seat to the prestigious 16-players event in Enghien-les-Bains.

The World Backgammon Tour Grand Finale is scheduled to the 1-2 November 2010, at the Casino Barrière in Enghien-les-Bains near Paris, France, immediately after the last stop, the French Open, closes the successful international backgammon tour. Only 16 players will compete at the Grand Finale for the €32,000 guaranteed prize pool; the champions and the top ranked players of he WBGT six stops, winners of offline satellites to be held in various backgammon communities in Europe, Asia and America and one lucky online backgammon player. Play65 online satellite will be held on 2 October at 18:00 GMT, and will be preceded by daily sub-satellites from 13 to 30 September, where €250 coupon to the final satellite will be awarded to the winners.

Play65, the leading backgammon room in the industry, has had success in the past with sending online qualifiers’ winners to compete in live events, as many of them returned with trophies and often with checks.
