Advanced Fungal Workshops for IAQ Professionals Announced for New Jersey and New York.

Two leading PhDs from EMSL Analytical will teach the one day seminars in Cherry Hill and New York City at the end of September.

Dr. Jason Dobranic and Dr. Zeljko Jurjevic are scheduled to host two seminars dedicated to helping indoor air quality (IAQ) professionals understand advanced sampling techniques for fungi. Topics will include fungal cultures, PCR, allergens, glucans, mVOCs, mycotoxins and more.

The first workshop is scheduled for September 29th at the Holiday Inn in Cherry Hill. On September 30th the workshop travels to the New Yorker Hotel in New York City. Currently the course is approved for 8 continuing education credits from the America Council for Accredited Certifications (ACAC) and it is pending approval for credits from the American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABIH).

During the workshops attendees will be taught to understand the pros and cons of each sampling and analytical technique and how to interpret the data and apply it to IAQ investigation strategies.
