Juniper Networks Showcases Secure and Assured Cable Networking Solutions at the NCTA 2006 National Show

Atlanta, Ga., April 5th, 2006-At The 2006 National Show, Juniper Networks (NASDAQ: JNPR) will showcase its industry-leading secure and assured networking solutions for cable MSOs in booth number 3437. Juniper Networks will highlight a range of cable-specific solutions in its booth, contribute to the conference speaking program, and participate in the CableNET® showcase and the Cable Game Arena.

In its booth, Juniper will showcase solutions on Secure and Assured Voice, core and edge routing, PacketCable Multimedia, and the company’s Modular Cable Modem Termination System (M-CMTS) joint development effort with Motorola.

On Monday, April 10th, John Treece, director of business development, Cable Products Business, will deliver a presentation as part of the “Next Generation Networks: Models for Convergence” session from 2:00 - 3:15 p.m. (Room B407).

In addition to its booth, Juniper Networks will also have displays in CableNET, the premiere showcase for new technology at The National Show, and the Cable Game Arena. At CableNET, Juniper Networks is demonstrating an intelligent, tiered application traffic management solution for cable operators, showcasing the application and policy management capabilities of the CableLabs PacketCable Multimedia-qualified Juniper SDX-300 Service Deployment System, in conjunction with Ellacoya Networks. In the Cable Game Arena, Juniper Networks will highlight enhanced games-on-demand service experiences, enabled by the SDX-300 and an integrated solution with Exent Technologies.

The 2006 National Show is the 55th annual international conference and exposition of the National Cable & Telecommunications Association (NCTA). The convention is expected to draw about 17,000 delegates April 9-11 at the Georgia World Congress Center, in Atlanta, Ga.
