Brattleboro, VT, USA - Jami Noguchi, also known as the “Angry Zen Master”, is looking to fund his Puppy Cow project through internet crowdfunding platform Kickstarter.com.

Puppy Cow is a plush toy which resembles somewhat of a cross between a puppy and a cow, hence the name Puppy Cow. The plush toy will be seven inches tall and have utters made out of an imitation leather material. Noguchi plans on manufacturing the product in China.

“As a cartoonist and illustrator I’ve created numerious characters and creatures and none have had as much positive and enthusiastic reponse as Puppy Cow”, says Noguchi on the Kickstarter website. “There’s just something about the combination of really cute and slightly oogy that seems to grab people.”

Puppy Cow was originally created on canvas on July 10th, 2010 at The Havoc of Hartford; part of Connecticon 2010, one of New England’s largest pop culture events.

“What’s really phenomenal about the concept of crowdfunding is that any entrepreneur with any idea can immediately submit their ideas to a crowdfunding platform like Kickstarter and let the market decide if it’s a good idea.”, said Tellman Knudson, founder of CrowdFundingSecrets.net. “Puppy Cow is a perfect example of that.”

At the time of this release, Kickstarter reported that Puppy Cow was 58% funded with $2,345 of the $4,000 funding goal asked by Noguchi. The deadline for Puppy Cow to be fully funded is September 1st, 2010.

CrowdFundingSecrets.net teaches people who want to raise money with crowdfunding how to submit their projects, get their ideas funded, and turn their passion into profits.
