The overall mission of the event is to bring tennis fans and players from throughout Malaysia and South East Asia together in one place under an official banner, and so far it has been living up to its reputation as one of the finest stops on the ATP World Tour with respect to singles and doubles play. In addition to the matches themselves fans can attend daily autograph sessions with their favourite stars, as well as participate in special events with the athletes.

The event takes place starting on the 25th September and runs through until the 3rd of October 2010, and will be held at Putra Stadium in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur. There will be 28 Men’s Singles and 16 Men’s Doubles matches, with $947,750 USD up for grabs in terms of prize money. There is room for 7,000 fans to watch the games, and there will be live and worldwide coverage via cable TV.
