Symantec Backup Exec and Enterprise Vault Named Best Channel Products by Business Solutions Magazine

Channel Community Recognizes Symantec Solutions as Best Backup and Recovery and Data Management products in Business Solutions Survey

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. - Symantec Corp. (Nasdaq: SYMC) today announced that Symantec Backup Exec and Enterprise Vault were recognized as 2010 Best Channel Products based on a survey of the VAR community conducted by Business Solutions Magazine and Penn State University. The survey asked Business Solution’s VAR subscribers to rate vendor solutions in five categories: richness of features, ease of configurability, reliability, ease of upgrade and the opportunities they present for VARs. In determining the winners, Business Solutions Magazine surveyed more than 1,400 verified resellers who cast nearly 17,000 votes.
