BooksOnBoard Congratulates 2010 RITA Awards Finalists

Finalists in this year’s RITA Awards for best romance novels include a hall of fame of BooksOnBoard customers’ favorite eBook authors. Among the nominees are Victoria Dahl, currently sitting in the BooksOnBoard top ten eBook bestsellers with Crazy in Love; Tessa Dare with two eBook romance bestsellers at BooksOnBoard in the last month, One Dance with a Duke and Twice Tempted by a Rogue; J.R. Ward, whose Lover Mine hit the BooksOnBoard top ten eBooks list in June; and Julia Quinn, who topped both the US eBooks list and BooksOnBoard’s United Kingdom eBooks list for a week in June with Ten Things I Love About You. Winners will be announced July 31st at the RWA’s 30th Annual Conference in Orlando, Florida.

Many other popular BooksOnBoard eBook romance authors earned nominations, among them Jill Shalvis, Susan Wiggs, Kristan Higgins, Jane Porter, Anne Mallory, Kresley Cole, Brenda Novak, Karen Rose, J.D. Robb (aka Nora Roberts, currently number two on BooksOnBoard’s bestseller list with Search), Liz Carlyle, and Laura Lee Guhrke.

This year, over one thousand entries from across the country were submitted to be judged in twelve RITA categories; of these, ninety-three finalists were selected.
