Express Solicitors’ Margaret Bailey-Tsavalas Accepted as Fellow of APIL

A senior litigation advisor at Manchester’s Express Solicitors has become one of only 25 North West lawyers to be accepted as a Fellow of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).

Express Solicitors’ Margaret Bailey-Tsavalas is now one of only 167 APIL fellows in the UK.

Speaking after the announcement, Margaret said: “APIL ensures its members are trained to the very highest standards and fights for full and just compensation for victims of personal injury, it’s an honour to be part of this important organisation”.

Members of APIL are required to adhere to a strict code of conduct; acceptance as a Fellow demonstrates a solicitor’s high level of expertise and indicates that he or she is recognised by their peers as a professional and intellectual leader in the field of personal injury law.

To qualify for an APIL fellowship, personal injury solicitors must possess over ten years’ experience of litigation, and be able to demonstrate a willingness to share their knowledge with sources outside their firm.

The chief executive of APIL, Denise Kitchener, extended her congratulations to the Manchester solicitor, saying "Margaret’s achievement is a reflection of her commitment and dedication to people who have been injured through no fault of their own.

“I’m delighted that we have been able to recognise her hard work, and congratulate her on achieving the status of Fellow.”
