In an interview with Nancy Cooper: “I created Violet Revolution to give the women of Chicago an outlet to find fashions in local boutiques and stores, in the city and beyond, so they can get an idea of where they’d like to shop locally. Sure, online shopping is essential these days, but there’s something to be said about trying on an outfit and getting the instant satisfaction of walking out with a purchase the same day, or not having to wait for delivery if you need an outfit in a pinch.”

Nancy further said: “The women of Chicago have their own unique fashion sense, and I like to think these women will identify with my Chicago Style perspective and passion for fashion. My style advice and tips are designed to speak to the “City Chic” woman that wants to improve her sense of style, take pleasure in shopping local boutiques and shops more often, and enjoy fashion and shopping in Chicago even if she doesn’t live here. My hope is to revolutionize fashion in Chicago by becoming a fashion community for women to share not only their thoughts on fashion, trends, and shopping; but also their style sense with other Revolutionistas who love shopping and love Chicago.”
