WEBWIRE

FAIRFIELD, NJ—May 26, 2010—On June 28, 2010 the Metro Chapter of the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA) will host their 1st Annual HBA Metro Chapter Charity Golf Tournament at Architects Golf Club in Phillipsburg, NJ.

The HBA supports women in healthcare by advancing their personal and professional goals through skill-based programs, networking, coverage of gender-based advancement issues, and practical “how to” programs. It also proudly promotes corporate and social responsibility through philanthropic efforts through events such as the 1st Annual HBA Metro Chapter Charity Golf Tournament in which all proceeds will directly benefit the Tomorrows Children’s Fund (www.atcfkid.com) of Hackensack University Medical Center. The Tomorrows Children’s Fund helps children with cancer and serious blood disorders by providing assistance to children in treatment, services to families, medical care, and funding for research.

The HBA Metro Chapter Charity Golf Tournament offers a scenic golf course that will challenge golfers at every skill level. The Tournament will also provide a golf clinic for beginners, an evening dinner reception and buffet, as well as silent and live auctions to support Tomorrows Children’s Fund. Space is limited, however opportunities still exist to participate in the golf clinic and donate items for the event’s auction.
