I-COM, Finalist in Crain’s Best Places to Work 2010, Recruiting PHP Developers and PPC Executives

Crain’s has nominated Manchester digital marketing agency I-COM as a finalist in the “Big” category of Crain’s Best Places to Work 2010 awards. Crain’s bases the nominations on the results of an employee survey.

I-COM Operations Director, Mike Blackburn said of the nomination, “Obviously, we’re thrilled that everyone who works here at I-COM feels this is a great place to work.

We certainly don’t think we behave like a big organisation, as we try to keep a close-knit, family relationship with both our people and clients. Perhaps that’s why we’ve done so well in the competition, and why so many of our clients stay with us for the long term.”

The news of the nomination comes hot on the heels of I-COM’s announcement of a period of fiscal growth in its year-end financial results. In order to support this growth and a series of new client wins, I-COM is recruiting an experienced PHP Developer with SEO development experience and a PPC Executive.

According to I-COM the Programmer needs problem-solving skills, and must be aware of the various considerations required to ensure effective search engine optimisation. They will be working very closely with the search team, improving sites technically to achieve better search engine listings.

The PPC Executive will work on ensuring and continually improving the return on investment clients obtain from paid search advertising.
