Major Spanish restaurant chain La Pesquera improves customer care and reduces costs with Alcatel solution
Madrid, March 27, 2006 - Alcatel (Paris: CGEP.PA and NYSE: ALA) today announced that La Pesquera, one of the leading restaurant chains in Spain, has implemented an Alcatel IP telephony and call center solution, allowing to improve customer care and reduce communications costs.
Satydal, an Alcatel certified Business Partner managed the solution’s installation, designing and supplying the overall solutions, which is based on the Alcatel OmniPCX telephony platform and Alcatel OmniTouch Contact Center solution. The solution allows La Pesquera to centralize telephony and customer service between its central office and its restaurant locations, all linked together by the Alcatel solution. The solution allows La Pesquera users to take advantage of free calls among the chain’s 13 different branches. The call center solution also enables La Pasquera to centralize all the calls for reservations and customers care.
