West LegalEdcenter To Offer Hot-Topic Continuing Legal Education Programming With The National Bar Association

WEBWIRE

EAGAN, Minn. – West LegalEdcenter announced today that it has entered into an agreement with the National Bar Association (NBA) to develop continuing education programs on hot topics within the legal industry.

“This marks the first time West LegalEdcenter has designed a strategic partnership with a minority bar association to develop programming,” said Lee Ann Enquist, vice president of West Professional Development. “We will highlight the NBA’s top speakers in a series of programs on emerging legal topics that will appeal to practicing attorneys throughout the country.”

West LegalEdcenter and the NBA most recently collaborated on the January 25 live webcast, Haiti Crisis Update: Current and Emerging Legal Issues (http://bit.ly/b50sgc). Given the urgent need for updates surrounding the tragedy, West LegalEdcenter and the NBA organized the webcast as a public service to the legal community. The webcast’s success prompted the two organizations to explore a more formal partnership.

“We’re delighted to become a continuing legal education content provider with West LegalEdcenter,” said NBA Executive Director J. Robert Carr. “The NBA has concerned itself with a wide range of projects, including the expansion of the number and quality of continuing legal education (CLE) seminars offered each year. Our relationship with West LegalEdcenter goes a long way toward achieving this objective.”

West LegalEdcenter customers can look for NBA-generated content on www.westlegaledcenter.com/link/nationalbar as hot topics in law emerge. NBA members will receive a discount on these programs.
