Jack Russell at Hotel Indigo to Match Donations for 2010 Atlanta Pet Parade

“Indie” the Jack Russell hotel mascot at the Hotel Indigo in Atlanta, GA will be matching every dollar donated for the 2010 Atlanta Pet Parade. Indie will be providing canine bacon treats too.

Indies keeper, General Manager Gabriele Webster of the Atlanta Midtown boutique hotel said: “Hotel Indigo Atlanta has been working hard to raise money for the 2010 Atlanta Pet Parade so that Indie’s friends at the Atlanta Humane Society will be well taken care of.”

“This cause is very important to us, because we know how difficult it is to find the right home and owner for a pet, and the Atlanta Humane Society is ‘a haven with a heart.’ That’s why we couldn’t let our ‘pawfect match’ pass us by.” On October 21, 2005, the hotel adopted the Jack Russell Terrier who is now the official mascot at the hotel.

For the 2010 Atlanta Pet Parade, Indie will match every dollar donated with two bacon treats.

The 2010 Atlanta Pet Parade takes place on Saturday, May 1, 2010, animal lovers and their pets will join together as thousands of paws walk for a cause.
