Fab Freelance Writing Ezine Announces Fun New Contest with $800 Prize

April 14, 2010 -- Blogger and writing teacher Angela Booth announced a fun new writing contest at her freelance blog, Fab Freelance Writing.

The contest is simple to enter, and is open to all writers who are subscribers to the free ezine. Entrants write a tiny essay of 100 to 200 words describing how they write.

The prize for one lucky writer is a Premium membership in Angela’s popular Sell Your Writing Online NOW (SYWON) training course. Entries close on April 30, 2010.

Angela said: “I love hearing how others do what they do, so this contest promises to be fun. Early entries have been excellent, showing humor and creativity.”

Recently, Angela integrated the ezine into her blog. She said: “Subscribers told me that they were falling behind with the ezine, because each week they received a huge 16-page PDF. In this new format, we retain the weekly theme, and subscribers receive links to blog posts as they’re written. This adds immediacy, and makes it easier to keep up.”

Angela has published the Fab Freelance Writing Ezine for almost four years. She said: “I created the ezine to help both new and established writers to make money from their words. Many subscribers report that the ezine has helped them to get their start, and that they value the content.”

She says that over the past four years, the world of writing has changed: “In 2006, blogging and contributing to Web publications were new. Now they’re accepted practice. The ezine will continue to give writers the information they need to take advantage of opportunities in 2010 and beyond.”
