NAVTEQ and Autodesk Collaborate in Co-Marketing Agreement

NAVTEQ Supports Autodesk’s MapGuide Web Mapping Contest

Chicago, IL – March 21, 2006 – NAVTEQ (NYSE: NVT), a leading global provider of digital map data for location-based solutions and vehicle navigation, and Autodesk, Inc., the world’s leading software and services company for manufacturing, media and entertainment, and wireless data services fields, have entered into a strategic co-marketing agreement. This alliance enables Autodesk geospatial and civil engineering customers greater ability to access NAVTEQ® map data through Autodesk’s geospatial solutions. In addition, NAVTEQ is providing sample data to Autodesk for The MapGuide Open, a Web mapping contest for developers designed to encourage the creation of new and innovative geospatial solutions using the new MapGuide Open Source platform.

Autodesk solutions allow customers to create, manage and share valuable spatial information for better decision-making and improved operational efficiency for computer-aided design (CAD) and geographic information system (GIS) data. NAVTEQ maps offer the quality and flexibility required for integration into different types of geospatial applications as well as the rich content and accuracy to meet customer requirements in mapping, facilities management, mobile enterprise solutions or fleet management solutions.
