Adaco .NET Provides Cost Savings for Philadelphia Marriott
With little more than a basic webinar and a few hours of training, the Philadelphia Marriott was off and running with the world’s most flexible hospitality purchasing and supply chain support platform. As the first Marriott to upgrade to Adaco’s Eclipse .NET, front-line personnel found the transition effortless and worthwhile considering the new feature set.
“We were able to use the system after our first webinar session,” said Senior Director of Purchasing Juan Carlos Sanchez. “Now we are advancing to the more sophisticated functions such as dynamically costing menus. Adaco’s thoughtful .NET implementation has delivered additional savings, particularly in our beverage category.”
Marriott personnel also were able to move the property’s ordering history from a legacy database to SQL in a very short time frame to accurately guide requirements planning.
“The Adaco conversion came at a very serendipitous time,” said Adaco Vice President of Sales Eddie McDonough. “A sister property was in the process of conversion when the Marriott needed them most, but in the end the conversion was very easy for the Marriott staff and required very little actual training time.”
