Embarcadero’s Jason Tiret to Present at Enterprise Data World

SAN FRANCISCO – March 12, 2010 — Embarcadero Technologies’ Jason Tiret, director of modeling and design solutions, will present at Enterprise Data World (EDW) being held March 14 – 18 in San Francisco. Embarcadero will showcase how cutting-edge features in ER/Studio®, including ER/Studio® Portal and the all new ToolCloud can enable better and faster data modeling and metadata management. Embarcadero is exhibiting in booth #213.

Tiret will present, “How to Integrate Modeling and Web 2.0 Technologies to Improve Communication,” on Thursday, March 18 from 9:50 – 10:50 a.m. PDT. Tiret will explore some of the popular collaboration and wiki tools in use and demonstrate ways to integrate them with models and accurate reports that are updated automatically. Attendees will also learn how Web 2.0 technologies like commenting and object labeling can be directly integrated with model review and workflow process, making it easier than ever to communicate and collaborate with developers, DBAs and business users who can provide feedback on the accuracy of the models and metadata.

In addition, learn how ER/Studio can improve data modeling efforts at the ER/Studio Special Interest Group meeting on Wednesday, March 17 from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. PDT. Bruce Baum, global data architect for Siemens Energy will lead this session.

Jason Tiret is the director of modeling and design solutions for Embarcadero Technologies. In this role, he oversees the entire line of Embarcadero’s data modeling and architecture solutions. Jason counts more than a decade of experience in data modeling, metadata and database management. He consults with many Fortune 500 companies, contributes articles to industry publications and is frequently tapped to speak at industry events on the topics of data architecture, metadata and data governance. Jason received a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of California at Davis.
