SAN MATEO, Calif. - March 20, 2006 - Twentieth Century Fox, one of the world’s largest producers and distributors of motion pictures, and Glu Mobile, a leading creator and global publisher of mobile entertainment, today announced the launch of Ice Age 2: Arctic Slide, a mobile game based on the animated film, “Ice Age: The Meltdown.” Also available for download are ringtones, wallpaper, and in select regions, video. The new movie is the highly anticipated sequel to Fox’s 2002 blockbuster, “Ice Age,” which grossed more than $381 million in global box office sales. “Ice Age: The Meltdown” will be released internationally starting on March 31, 2006.

The mobile game, created by the award-winning studios at Glu Mobile, features Scrat, whose love for acorns gets him into catastrophic trouble. Scrat chases acorns by sliding down frosty slopes, stalagmite caves and mountain peaks in more than 18 levels of high-speed, roller coaster-style fun.
