UNIVERSAL STUDIOS ORLANDO, Florida– J. Sanchez, Executive Director for 2010 Events LLC, organizers of the Fireball Run Adventurally®, an annual auto-enthusiast rally, today announced finalization of a “downgrade” to its popular web site. “Fireball Run is a branded entertainment property, our product is adjusted according to the climate in the advertizing world,” said Sanchez, who is also a nationally respected branding expert, and former CEO of Catalyst Advertizing & PR. “The dynamics of modern advertising has changed, traditional advertising is not scalable. We produce an event that has such public appeal, its imagery and effect moves at lightning speed through social media networks and the media. To be frank, the site has not truly been downgraded, it’s highly technical sophistication has been wrapped in a grass roots aesthetic… the web site now accurately reflects our public perception.”

The original Fireball Runs web site had an aggressive, flash heavy appearance that Sanchez said had become very cookie cutter as more as more rally sites patterned the look and became less distinguishable. “We found ourselves looking like everyone else,” explains Sanchez “Fireball Run is one of a kind. We are the only live action road event 100% molded by our partnering brands. For our partners Fireball Run is an alternative marketing tool; a cost effective way to showcase brands in a very penetrable way.”

The Amazing Race meets motorsports national event combines a scripted interactive game with track competitions. The event traverses 75 teams through 18 host cities, over 8 days, and 3500 miles. Garnishing an unprecedented 12 hours of broadcast television news annually, the events competitors and fans are responsible for the social media storm that follows in its wake. “Everywhere we go videos and photos are taken of the event. The result is a ridiculous amount of social media and “grass roots” traffic. That grass roots movement is what our partners count on. It’s an alternative to paid advertising.”
