Lexar Professional Cards Win Three Coveted Awards from ColorFoto Magazine

Lexar Memory Cards Recognised as Top Professional Purchase by Respected Publication

LONDON, England – Lexar Media, a leading global provider of memory products for digital media, is pleased to announce that its Lexar® Professional line of cards has received three awards from ColorFoto magazine. The Lexar Professional 600x 16GB CompactFlash® (CF), Professional 233x 8GB CF, and Professional 133x 4GB SDHC™ cards received recognition in the January issue (1/2010) and “Einkaufsführer 2010” (Buyer’s Guide 2010).

The Lexar Professional 600x 16GB CF card was included in a group test of eight CompactFlash cards and received a Testsieger (Test Winner) award. The cards ranged from write speeds of 35MB/s to 90MB/s and were tested in two of the latest generation DSLR cameras. The Buyer’s Guide also featured a group test of 34 cards (12 CompactFlash, 17 SDHC, and 5 Memory Stick PRO Duo™ cards) in six DSLR cameras. Within the CompactFlash category, the Lexar Professional 233x 8GB CF card won the Kauftipp (Must Buy) award for great performance at a low price point. And within the SDHC category, the Lexar Professional 133x 4GB SDHC card achieved the Testsieger award for speed.

ColorFoto is a leading monthly magazine aimed at professional and enthusiast photographers. It is one of the leading magazines for all aspects of modern photography with a comprehensive practical section, expert purchasing advice, and substantiated tests of digital cameras and accessories.
