Cheap Home Selling On eBay For Less Than A Penny?
CheapHomeReport.com is reporting, homes in some areas of the U.S. continue to sell on eBay for less than $5,000. Meanwhile, a collectible (1914) Lincoln penny sold on eBay for $16,466 in January. (2010)
According to James Massey, the CHR publisher, who also publishes WhatSellsBest.com, a website tracking top collectibles sold on eBay. The price disparities between cheap homes and rare collectibles (selling on eBay) can be astounding at times, but it’s not all that uncommon.
Massey stated, he’d seen a lot of houses selling on eBay for less than $5,000, especially over the last year. “It makes sense people don’t want to be tied to a cheap home in an area facing a lot of economic uncertainty. But, sometimes, the best long term investments are bought when nobody wants them.”
