Imagine Optic creates US subsidiary and opens new office in San Francisco

San Francisco and Orsay France, January 26, 2010 – As part of its assertive growth strategy, Imagine Optic, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of adaptive optics and Shack-Hartmann wavefront metrology solutions, is proud to announce the creation of Imagine Optic, Inc. as well as the opening of its new office in San Francisco, CA. The San Francisco office will complement the Cambridge, MA office in order to provide customers with coast to coast service and support.

“The tough economic climate combined with the increasing emergence of low-end competitors makes it more important than ever for us to be close to our customers and, from basic research through to industrial applications, the US market is important for any company that wants to build its business” notes Jerome Ballesta who will be heading up the US venture. He adds, “Having offices in Paris, Barcelona, Cambridge (MA, USA) and now San Francisco, in addition to our worldwide distributor network, will enable us to achieve several important goals. One of those objectives is that, together with the new customer extranet we will be launching next month, we will be in the unique position to provide around the clock support to our clients, wherever they may be.”

The new San Francisco Office is located at 2415 Third Street, San Francisco, CA 94107.
