First on-demand application available to all for an easy and quick way to stay in compliance with vendor configuration guidelines and industry best practices

Menlo Park, CA - Intelliden today announced the launch of Intelliden iAudit™, the first free, cloud-based application for validating the compliance of network devices against configuration policies. Intelliden iAudit provides an easy and quick way to validate a device’s configuration against vendor guidelines for ACL, interface and Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) authentication, and industry best practices such as those recommended by the National Security Agency (NSA) and Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA).

Network and IT managers can confidentially submit device configurations for compliance validation with no requirement to download or install software. Intelliden iAudit performs a number of policy checks and produces summary and detailed reports to highlight successes and failures. Intelliden iAudit can be used to validate the integrity of existing solutions and to augment manual or script-based network compliance checks. The Intelliden iAudit application is currently available for Cisco® IOS-based and Juniper® JUNOS-based routers, and offered free of charge. For more information on Intelliden iAudit, please visit www.intelliden.com/iaudit.

Intelliden iAudit leverages Intelliden’s award-winning Policy Based Compliance Management (PBCM) application, which has been proven to be effective at some of the world’s leading service providers and enterprises. The comprehensive, on-premise version of Intelliden PBCM automates the complete network compliance lifecycle including policy definition, validation, resolution and reporting.

“We created Intelliden iAudit to highlight the importance of regular and on-going validation of network device configurations against regulatory mandates, security policies, and internal operational and engineering standards,” said Nick Abbott, Vice President of Services and Support at Intelliden. “Incorrectly configured networks can result in outages, performance degradation, security vulnerabilities and breaches of regulatory mandates such as Sarbanes-Oxley, PCI/DSS and HIPAA.”
