HOUSTON, TX – January 20 – The Houston Wedding Showcase joined the effort to help Haitian earthquake victims by pledging to support Doctors Without Borders and their relief efforts in Haiti.

The Houston Wedding Showcase, taking place on February 27 at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, will donate 100 percent of the proceeds from tickets purchased between now and January 27.

“We were shocked and saddened by the images we saw coming from Haiti,” says Marc McIntosh, one of the country’s top bridal show experts and a co-producer of the Houston Wedding Showcase. “We wanted to do something quickly to help, and Doctors Without Borders is an organization we know and respect and wanted to support in the heroic effort they are making in Haiti.”
