RIMC 2010 hosts influential media figures Ashley Friedlein and Allen McCaskill

Ashley Friedlein, CEO and founder of Econsultancy, and Allen McCaskill, Senior Director of Media for Ericsson Worldwide and Head of UK TV and Media Practice, will be a keynote speakers at the forthcoming Reykjavik Internet Marketing Conference (http://www.rimc.is/en/), taking place in March 2010.

Ashley Friedlein is one of the most influential and connected figures in the UK digital marketing sector. He co-founded digital marketing company Econsultancy, along with business partner Matthew O’Riordan in 1999. The award-winning company helps its members learn, make better decisions, build business cases and assist in finding the best suppliers in order to accelerate their careers.

Allen McCaskill is a senior consultancy expert with strong business development, account and commercial management experience underpinned with more than a decade of managing large multi-disciplined teams including sales, accounts, software developers, information architects, marketing and PR. He also has commercial acumen from proposition development to successful delivery, predominately from within the broadcast, media, mobile and Internet sectors.

McCaskill is expected to focus on key issues facing those using Mobile and other new media as a part of their marketing efforts. He will also discuss how the industry can embrace the opportunities and overstep technological barriers facing traditional marketers when adding the opportunities of the new media landscape.

The annual Reykjavik Internet Marketing Conference and EXPO (RIMC) is organised by Nordic eMarketing and this year’s event is scheduled to take place on the 12th March 2010 in Reykjavik, Iceland at the Smaralind Conference Centre.
