Patients from New Jersey and New York have trusted Dr. Aminyar’s expertise in the Orthodontic field for many years. “There are many benefits to having healthy teeth and proper jaw alignment.” Says Dr. Aminyar. There are many reasons someone should consider braces. Crowded and crooked teeth are hard to clean and maintain, this can cause tooth decay, gum disease and lead to tooth loss. Braces aren’t only meant to straighten teeth, but they also can correct abnormal wear of tooth surfaces, misalignment of the jaw joints, inefficient chewing function, and added stress on the gum tissue and the bone that supports the teeth.

The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that parents take their children to see an orthodontist by the age of seven, if the problem is caught early before all their permanent teeth are in. But that being said, it is never too old to have braces, or to fix orthodontic problems. Did you know that most Orthodontist have an average of 25% adult patients?
