Veteran Molecular Filtration Engineer Promoted to Director of Filtration Technology at UltraViolet Devices

Dr. Ashish Mathur has quickly made his mark at nation’s leading provider of ultraviolet (UV) and molecular filtration products.

In August of 2009 Dr. Ashish Mathur joined the team at UltraViolet Devices, Inc. (UVDI) as its Senior Molecular Filtration Engineer. In his short time with the company, he has leveraged his extensive filtration experience and grown into a technical leadership role which resulted in his recent promotion to UVDI’s Director of Filtration Technology.

In his new position, Dr. Mathur will be responsible for advancing UVDI’s Sparks Technology brand by developing innovative new products. Additionally, he will manage opportunities to provide customers with technical solutions to their molecular filtration needs.

Dr. Mathur brings over 22 years of industry experience to UVDI. He received his doctorate and master’s degrees in fiber and polymer sciences from Cornell University. His knowledge of activated carbon based products, chemical impregnates, particulate filtration and filtration technology facilitates UVDI’s continued growth in the molecular filtration markets.
