Net Insight receives order for upgrade of media transport network in Europe

Stockholm, Sweden - Net Insight, leading developer of efficient and scalable optical transport solutions for media, IP and broadcast networks, has received an order from a major European media network operator for an upgrade of its Nimbra based media network.

The media network operator runs a global satellite and fiber network providing worldwide transmission services for broadcasters. The network is based on Net Insight’s Nimbra platform and interconnects multiple sites in Europe, Asia and the United States.

A part of the network in Europe is now being upgraded with 10 Gbps capacity links.
