WEBWIRE

March 14, 2006: The city of San Francisco is currently host to an exhibition of the unprecedented achievements of Master Wan Ko Yee (Dharma King Yangwo Yisinubu Wan Ko) in the fields of art, literature, and technological innovations, featuring over 200 works in twenty-one categories. This amazing one-man show of mysterious works of art and other achievements is being held at Hua Zang Si, located at 3134 22nd Street, San Francisco, CA from 11-5, Monday-Thursday, and from 10-6, Friday-Sunday through November 9, 2006. Admission is free.
The exhibition features the dignified and colossal statues of the Buddhas designed by Master Yee along with ten “Jade Plates” that display the depth and soul of the rarest jade, but sprung from the tip of the artist’s brush. There are giant water-colors and oil paintings including the irascible and unforgettable Robin Hood character of “Monk Jigong” and a ferocious, life-size tiger. There is a very large and sublimely beautiful painting of the compassionate Kuan Yin Bodhisattva. Like all of the Master’s work, there is an energy and movement in the art that transports the viewer to another dimension.
There is also a Yun sculpture that features swirling mist inside a rock. Some claim that this work has the power to heal and remove negative karma and cause good fortune to those who come in contact with it. Everyone who has seen it agrees it is unbelievable and a truly magical experience. It has been widely considered that some of the works could not possibly have been created by a human being. They are believed to be treasures from heaven, having beauty and magnificence that cannot be replicated by an ordinary human.
The exhibit also features various types of building materials that are made from the enchanting other-worldly art of Master Yee. There are also various styles of calligraphy, poems, and much more. It is an exhibition that must be seen to be believed.
Master Yee, who is also known as Dharma King Yangwo Yisinubu Wan Ko, is a great Buddhist master. This exhibition demonstrated his mastery of the five vidyas or illuminations of an Accomplished One—an enlightened being. All of the exhibits are a manifestation of the true Buddha-dharma. One of the exhibits features the holy Buddha-dharma itself that is available to all living beings. The Dharma King selected twenty-one categories of achievements from his numerous types of accomplishments for their symbolic meaning in paying respect to the twenty-one manifestation of Tara, an ancient buddha who bestows great compassion and wisdom upon living beings. In this way the exhibition also serves the purpose of beseeching the Twenty-one Taras to bless living beings with good fortune, countries with prosperity and security, and the world with peace.
