GPS Tuner Teams with Tele Atlas and DigitalGlobe to Power Rich Visual Navigation Experience for Outdoor Enthusiasts

Off-road navigation software for mobile devices features Tele Atlas maps and DigitalGlobe satellite imagery

Gent, Belgium - Tele Atlas, a leading global provider of digital maps and dynamic content for navigation and location-based solutions and GPS Tuner, a software development company specialized in the off-road sector, announced an agreement under which Tele Atlas supplies digital maps on GPS Tuner Atlas, GPS Tuner’s off-road navigation software. The software also uses satellite imagery from DigitalGlobe (NYSE: DGI), a leading global provider of commercial, high-resolution, world imagery products and services, to further enhance the user’s visual experience.

The solution is expected to be available in Western Europe, North America and Asia embedded in specific outdoor devices in 2010.
