Car Hire Shortage this Christmas at Glasgow Airport

This year there will be an unprecedented shortage of rental vehicles available from multi-national car hire companies says a spokesperson for Discount Car Hire (DCH). DCH have increased their fleet to come to the rescue of travellers.

DCH say that the recession has had a major impact on UK based multi-national car rental companies, to the extent that they have been unable to source their normal supply of vehicles from car manufacturers.

This is going to have a major impact on travellers arriving home to Glasgow International Airport this Christmas who are unable to source rental vehicles. Demand for vehicles reaches a peak at this time of the year says DCH and 7 seater vehicles especially will be in very short supply.
