Entries open until 4 December to design the first Youth Olympic Games medal. Take part in Olympic history! The International Olympic Committee (IOC) invites members of the public to design the medals of the upcoming Youth Olympic Games (YOG).

The winning medal design will be awarded at the first edition of YOG, to be held in Singapore from 14 to 26 August 2010.

We want all designers across the world to tap into their creativity to design the first Youth Olympic Games medal.

The winning designer will win a trip to the Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games and will see the medals he/she has designed be awarded to the athletes. The winner will also receive a Gold medal replica.

Entries will be put up on the website www.medaldesigncompetition.com and the 10 best designs, as voted for by the public, will be put before an IOC jury to decide the overall winner.
