Hillarys Announces Sales Are Up

Despite being in the grip of a recession, Hillarys Blinds is enjoying continuous sales, particularly in the shutters department.

“Sales of our shutters have shot up by more than 15% year on year during 2009 to become our fastest growing product line,” said Sarah Quilliam, head of product design at Hillarys.

“This is quite remarkable in such a challenging economy and shows how homeowners are seeking quality and lasting value in spite of testing times.”

Customers are also appreciating the improved energy efficiency benefits offered by shutters and the enhanced privacy they give, especially in houses which look out onto busy streets.
