Surety Bond Agency Provides Legally Required Bonds On A Deadline

BondsExpress.com, a surety bond agency based in Syracuse, NY, offers same day bonds delivered by email to customers who are required to have bonds in place by a specific date in order to maintain their license to do business.

Syracuse, NY November 8, 2009 – For Ralf Rigo, the owner of a surety bond agency called BondsExpress.com, the past few weeks in his office have been as calm and relaxing as if he were on vacation.

“Medicare required all suppliers and dealers of medical equipment to have a bond in place by October 10, 2009,” Rigo said. “The last week, and especially the last couple of days, before the deadline were absolutely crazy… everyone tried to get their bond at the last minute to make sure they didn’t lose their license.”

The Medicare bond requirement is not the only bond acquirement deadline that business owners find themselves facing. Auto dealership bonds, tax preparer bonds, and a large variety of other bond are required either by the state the business is held in or by an authority agency, like Medicare.

Sometimes, as is the case with the California Tax Preparer Bond, the person applying for the bond needs only the policy number of the bond in order to obtain or renew their license.

“In the case of the California Tax Preparer Bond, we actually email the bond to the customer that same day, free of charge,” Rigo said. “There’s no need for them to wait to get their bond in the mail, when we can just as easily email the bond to them and allow them to get their license that much faster.”

The tax preparer bond isn’t the only bond on the site that has an email delivery option. Other bonds, highlighted on the BondsExpress.com site in a special section, are labeled “Same Day Bonds” and can be emailed to the customer.

In the world of surety bonds, it seems a new deadline is always emerging. What’s on the horizon next?

“Indiana Motor Vehicle Dealer Bonds are currently the big requirement. New licensees have to obtain a bond immediately, and currently licensees have to have a bond in place in order to renew their license,” Rigo said.
