Site Gearing Up For Holiday Season, Aims To Increase The Popularity Of Pumpkin Soup Year Round

With fall’s familiar chill beginning to creep into the air; it’s hard not to be reminded that the holidays are right around the corner - and with them, the autumn’s pumpkin crop. While pumpkins are available all year long at most groceries and produce markets, it’s inarguable that they’re far more prevalent in the fall. Certainly, this is the season when these vegetables begin to enter into people’s minds as well as their kitchens.

One classic fall and winter dish is of course pumpkin soup. Most people I talk to know the classic pumpkin soup recipe and a pie recipe; but that’s about the extent of most people’s pumpkin expertise. Me, I’m a huge fan of pumpkin soup and I’ve been gathering different pumpkin soup recipes over the years. PumpkinSoup.org is my way of sharing these recipes and letting other people try some of the many unique soup recipes there are out there with pumpkin in a starring role.” says Szalay-Kudra.
