Coco and Lafe to Perform at Broadway Village This Friday, October 9

Tucson, Ariz. -- The nationally touring, songwriting duo of Coco and Lafe will perform live at Broadway Village this Friday, October 9, between 11am and 2pm. The Vermont-rooted folksingers, Coco Kallis and Lafe Dutton, are making the stop in the Old Pueblo on their nationwide tour of farmers markets. The performance is free and open to the public.

Coco Kallis has performed twice on the Conan O’Brien show and was in the original Boston cast of “Hair.” Lafe Dutton, a longtime studio musician, has released several original recordings. Their current CD, Café Loco, contains 14 genre-crossing originals. Samples of their music can be found at

“We are thrilled to host these talented musicians at Broadway Village, and we look forward to sharing their free, live performance with patrons of Friday’s Farmers Market,” said Randall Finfrock, managing partner of Tucson’s oldest neighborhood shopping center.

Friday’s Farmers Market at Broadway Village, now in its 21st week, is Tucson’s only indoor/outdoor air-conditioned farmer’s market, where more than 40 independent Arizona vendors showcase their products, from locally-grown organic produce and grass-fed beef, to baked goods and indigenous plants. Imported certified organic fruits and vegetables, and fresh seafood are also offered.

New fall hours are 9am to 2pm every Friday. Broadway Village is located at the southwest corner of Broadway Boulevard and Country Club, in the heart of Tucson.
