HyperOffice introduces HyperBase

ROCKVILLE, MD., 30 Sept. 2009 – HyperOffice today announced HyperBase, “cloud-computing” software tools that give businesses the ability to easily collect, manage and analyze data – and share it with teams, customers, partners and suppliers.

HyperBase users can quickly create online database applications for automating common business tasks, such as managing events, tracking inventory and sales leads, and processing support tickets.

“Spreadsheets and traditional database management software like MS-Access lock data inside one user’s computer,” said Farzin Arsanjani, president of HyperOffice.

“HyperBase is an ideal alternative to Microsoft Access and other traditional database software,” said Arsanjani. “It moves this data to the web, where it can be shared with colleagues and clients anywhere on the planet, using websites, private Intranets and even mobile devices.”

“HyperBase is tightly integrated with and adds significant power to HyperOffice,” said Arsanjani.

HyperOffice is the award-winning online messaging and collaboration software that allows growing businesses to collaborate, communicate, manage projects, share documents, schedule meetings, and manage information from anywhere on the planet.

HyperBase users design and build online forms like contact forms, online surveys, customer order forms, “in minutes, without writing a single line of code,” said Arsanjani.

“We are migrating a fact-finding spreadsheet into an online form,” said Lisa Whipps, client services manager at Trincon,, a Columbus, Ohio based consultant to trucking and transportation companies across US and Canada.

Whipps has been beta testing HyperBase since June 2009.

“The spreadsheet is huge – 11 pages, hundreds of questions analyzing business operations, staffing, resources, and more. It’s labor intensive. Clients often write answers on paper. It often takes a month. Our goal is to enable clients to complete the questionnaire via online forms, get rid of the paper, and speed this up,” she said.

“We began using HyperOffice to share calendars with consultants across the country,” said Whipps. “We’ve added HyperDrive and other tools to streamline work. We expect the same from HyperBase.”

“Where HyperOffice users coordinated projects or shared documents, now, with HyperBase, we share information that was locked away inside spreadsheets and databases,” said Arsanjani.

HyperBase will be available as part of the HyperOffice online collaboration suite that Tata Communications offers to business subscribers in India and 200 other countries under a marketing agreement announced in late August.
