Program Extends Company’s Support as An Official Sponsor of the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Teams

San Antonio, Texas, March 2, 2006, The new AT&T (NYSE: T) and USA Gymnastics announced today that AT&T will serve as an official partner for USA Gymnastics and provide financial support, products and services to aid in the training of America’s gymnasts. This partnership is in conjunction with the recently announced sponsorship by AT&T of the 2006 and 2008 U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Teams.

AT&T will serve as the official telecommunications sponsor for USA Gymnastics. AT&T receives the exclusive right and license to use the emblems and designations of USA Gymnastics to advertise and promote its products and services. AT&T also has marketing and hospitality rights for several USA Gymnastics events including the Tyson American Cup in Philadelphia, the Pacific Alliance Championships in Honolulu, Hawaii, and the Visa Championships in St. Paul, Minn.
